Standard Urine Drugs of Abuse Test

Texas Scientific LLC provides rapid and accurate drug screening and confirmation tests for parent drugs and drug metabolites in urine. The Standard Urine Drugs of Abuse (DOA) Test detects 29 biomarkers, including prescription medications, illicit substances, and alcohol. This aids in patients’ rehabilitation and recovery efforts. Please review the list of detected biomarkers to confirm that the analytes of interest are included.
The screening test employs immunoassay techniques to minimize unnecessary confirmatory testing, whereas high-resolution liquid chromatography tandem mass spectroscopy (LC/MS/MS)-based confirmation tests then identify substances with high sensitivity and specificity. Presumptively positive initial screening results are followed by quantitative/qualitative confirmation tests to verify the findings.
Positive result indicates the presence of drugs or metabolites in the specimen
Negative result signifies the absence or undetectability of the substance within the threshold limits
To address the issue of adulterated specimens, we conduct Urine Adulteration Tests to detect common masking agents and ensure specimen integrity upon receipt. If a specimen is determined to be adulterated, the test order is voided, and the result is reported as invalid.
