Customized Toxicology Tests
Texas Scientific LLC allows healthcare providers and group clients to select drug/metabolites panels, individually or in combination, for testing of drugs in urine or saliva samples. Toxicology testing usually involves both a screening test and a confirmation test, applied in sequence. The screening test uses an immunoassay or liquid chromatography mass spectrometry assay (LC/MS) to detect classes of drugs quickly and cost-effectively. The confirmation test is performed using an accurate liquid chromatography tandem mass spectroscopy (LC/MS/MS) analysis. It verifies positive screens or when precise identification is clinically or legally important. A positive result means that a drug or metabolites were found in your specimen (urine or saliva) for the drug indicated. A negative result means the drug was not detected in the specimen you sent for testing (urine or saliva), or it was below the threshold of detection.
You can either download and submit a requisition form or fill in an online form to submit your request for the tests.
